HOW LONG IS THE MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT? WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
Memberships are month-to-month agreements requiring a 30-day prior to billing date cancellation form to be filled out and emailed to us or processing.
CAN I SHARE MY MEMBERSHIP SESSIONS?
No, memberships are not shareable. Because memberships are highly discounted they cannot be shared with friends or family.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I DO NOT USE ALL OF MY SESSIONS WITHIN A MEMBERSHIP MONTH?
Your sessions will carry over to the next month.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I USE ALL OF MY SESSIONS BEFORE THE MEMBERSHIP MONTH ENDS?
Your membership allows you to purchase additional sessions for just $19 each so that you never have to go without infrared sauna, salt sauna, or thermal massage simply because your monthly membership has not yet renewed.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I COME IN?
The more the better! Based on your individual health and wellness goals, we recommend at least 1-2 times a week. For even better results, 3-4 times a week is recommended. We also suggest you try the infrared sauna immediately at varying times around your exercise schedule. Saunas are great pre-workout to increase blood flow and flexibility, or following your workout/fitness program to assist with recovery or to enhance weight loss results.
WILL I BE LOSING WATER WEIGHT IN THE INFRARED SAUNA?
Yes, which will be regained upon rehydration. But the calories burned are real. As you relax in the gentle heat of our saunas, your body is actually hard at work increasing blood flow (increased heart rate), increasing circulation, and producing sweat to cool you down. This results in a caloric burn!
IS IT TRUE I AM STILL BURNING CALORIES UP TO AN HOUR AFTER MY INFRARED SAUNA SESSION?
Yes. By increasing your heart rate and core body temperature by 2-3 degrees in your infrared sauna session, it could take up to an hour to return to your normal body temperature. We encourage you to stay active before and after your session if you want to maximize the calorie burn.
ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED TO USE THE INFRARED SAUNA?
The core body temperature of children rises much faster than adults. This occurs due to a higher metabolic rate per body mass, limited circulatory adaptation to increased cardiac demands and the inability to regulate body temperature by sweating.
We require children under the age of 15 to be accompanied by an adult during the sauna session. The sauna session also will operate at a lower temperature and for no more than 20 minutes. A general rule of thumb is 1 minute per year of age for the child. Children 15 years of age and older can use the sauna without an adult present. We also recommend children 15 years of age and older use the sauna for no more than 30 minutes.
Please remember to keep your child hydrated, regardless of sauna use and even if you don’t see them actively sweating.
CAN I USE THE SAUNA WHILE BREASTFEEDING?
The answer is generally yes, but may be different depending upon your specific circumstances. As such, we recommend you consult with your physician or trusted healthcare provider before using the sauna while breastfeeding.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR IN THE SAUNA? CAN I GO NUDE?
We generally recommend that “less is best” when using an infrared sauna. Each sauna session is private, so please dress according to your comfort level. You can go nude if you would like, but be sure to put a towel between you and the bench. This assists in your comfort and to absorb sweat. If clothes are preferred, men generally wear workout or swim trunks; women typically wear a swimsuit, or workout shorts and a tank top or sports bra. Again, place your towel between you and the bench, even when minimally dressed for comfort and sweat absorption.
For the most effective and comfortable option, choose our specially-designed Bamboo Carbon Body Wrap or Bamboo Towel, which provides just enough coverage to remain modest, but does not contain too much material. Going nude vs. wearing the Bamboo Body Wrap or Bamboo Towel will not alter the effectiveness of your sauna session, although the density of clothes may block some of the infrared light.
WHAT TIME OF DAY SHOULD I USE THE SAUNA (AM OR PM)?
It is completely up to you and your lifestyle. There are no data showing one time of day producing a more benefit over another.
HOW DO YOU CLEAN THE SAUNAS?
Infrared saunas are generally maintenance-free. Infrared light is naturally anti-bacterial and anti-microbial, and helps clean the sauna with each use. Nonetheless, we clean our saunas after each use with a natural, plant-based cleaner so that harsh chemicals and strong fragrances do not interfere with the enjoyment of your session.
HOW LONG IS A TYPICAL SESSION? AND HOW OFTEN CAN I TAKE A SESSION?
Most people partake in a 40-minute session, 2-3 times a week, but it is safe to use the sauna every day.

WHAT IS EMF? IS IT HARMFUL TO THE BODY?
EMFs, or Electric and Magnetic Fields, are waves of electric and magnetic energy radiating through space. High EMF levels are often associated with power lines.
EMFs are everywhere in our homes and offices. The electrical appliances we use (an electric can opener at close range emits substantial EMFs), computers, monitors, keyboards and mice, wireless modems, cordless phones, clock radios, hair dryers, mobile phones, microwave ovens and more, all produce EMFs.
Although the current scientific evidence provides no definitive answers regarding EMFs, there is enough uncertainty that some people want to reduce their exposure to EMFs. Our saunas are designed to cancel out EMFs to levels that are virtually undetectable.
DOES INFRARED TECHNOLOGY INTERFERE WITH IMPLANTS (METAL, SILICONE, ETC.)?
Metal pins, rods, artificial joints or any other surgical implants generally reflect infrared waves and thus are not heated by this system. Nevertheless, you should consult your physician or trusted healthcare provider prior to using an infrared sauna if you have any concerns.
